Over the years we have learned that some of the best ideas for volunteer projects come from employees. For that reason, we wanted to give Good Done Great users the ability to do just that! Now if you Sign in to the portal, you can make suggestions for future volunteer opportunities.
Begin by opening to the Volunteer home page by clicking the Volunteer tab. Next navigate to the Projects menu just as you would to search for an opportunity near you.
Rather than proceeding as normal, this time choose Suggest a Project from the dropdown list. A page will open in which you can fill out the required information for your program administrator to review. When you have finished, click Create Project.
NOTE: Your company administrator may have configured their Volunteer product to require approval before your project is opened to the public for registration. When this is the case, you will receive an email with their decision upon suggesting your project.
Afterwards, you can always return to check on the status of projects you have suggested as well. Simply return to the Volunteer tab and view suggested projects along with those for which you are currently registered under My Projects.
